License plate in Treasurer's office

Missoula County residents in Lolo, Clinton and Frenchtown will soon have the option to renew their vehicle registration, pay property taxes and complete other Treasurer Office services without traveling to the courthouse, thanks to a new collaboration that will bring these services closer to home.

Starting Wednesday, Oct. 14, the Missoula County Treasurer’s Office will partner with the Missoula Public Library Bookmobile and the Missoula Food Bank to offer services during those organizations’ regular stops in these communities. Services including vehicle titling and registration, issuing license plates, vehicle registration renewals, and property tax payments will be provided at the following locations:

• Lolo School & Community Library (5305 Farm Lane): 2nd and 3rd Wednesday, 4 to 6 p.m.
• Clinton Food Bank at the school annex (20359 E. Mullan Road): 3rd Wednesday, 3:45 to 5:15 p.m.

  • Frenchtown School & Community Library (17620 Frontage Road): 2nd and 3rd Thursday, 4 to 6 p.m.

Residents can stop by anytime during the listed hours, no appointment required.

“The Clerk & Treasurer’s Office strives to make government services easily accessible to all Missoula County residents, said Clerk and Treasurer Director Shyra Scott. “We continue to reduce wait times at our Missoula office and, over the past year, expand our Seeley Lake hours and services. We look forward to working with the Missoula Public Library and the Missoula Food Bank to make it possible for Frenchtown, Lolo and Clinton residents to access our services in their own neighborhoods.”

The Treasurer’s Office will also continue to offer regular satellite services in Seeley Lake at the Foundation Building (3150 Hwy. 83). Starting Tuesday, Oct. 6, the hours for Seeley Lake services will change to Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for walk-ins and Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. by appointment.
