Missoula County Commissioners to Hold Final Budget Hearing This Week

The Missoula County commissioners will hold a public hearing on the County’s final budget for fiscal year 2027 at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3, at the Missoula County Courthouse, 200 W. Broadway.

Members of the public and media can participate by attending the meeting in the Sophie Moiese Room in the Missoula County Courthouse or virtually with the Microsoft Teams. The agenda and information on how to join the meeting virtually will be available online at missoula.co/bccmeetings.

Missoula County residents who want a say in how their County property taxes are spent are encouraged to provide input on the budget. Residents can find information on the proposed budget and submit public comment on the 2027 Budget page on missoulacountyvoice.com. In addition to attending the public hearing or commenting on Missoula County Voice, other options for providing feedback include leaving a voicemail for the commissioners at 406-258-4877, emailing [email protected] or mailing comments to the Commissioners’ Office, 200 W. Broadway St. Missoula, MT 59802.
