Grants & Community Resources

The Grants and Community Resources Department pursues and manages federal, state and local funding that benefits county residents and communities. Staff focus their efforts in two main areas: county-funded grants and federal and state grants. This strategic approach helps Missoula County achieve its mission to enhance and protect the health, welfare, and safety of those who live, work and visit the county.

Impact Grants support community projects in the rural areas of Missoula County that can be completed by the end of 2026 days and are requesting between $501 and $4,000 in grant funds. Applications are due by Feb. 28, 2026. Click here for more information!

Micro Grants

Accepted monthly on a rolling basis

Micro Grants support community projects in the rural areas of Missoula County that can be completed within 90 days and are requesting between $100 and $500 in grant funds. Applications are due on the last day of the month and will be accepted monthly, until all funds have been allocated. Click here for more information!
