Municipal Election Ballots Due by 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9

Ballots for the Missoula municipal primary election must be returned to the Elections Office by 8 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, Sept. 9. Voters should drop their ballots off instead of mailing them, as postmarks do not count. Polling places will not be open for this mail-only election.
Voters can drop off their ballots at two drive-thru ballot drop locations Tuesday until 8 p.m.:
- Hellgate Elementary baseball fields (2385 Flynn Lane, just north of the school campus)
- Missoula County Fairgrounds, between the Fairgrounds and the YMCA off Russell Street
Ballots may also be returned inside the Elections Center - Building B (ADA-voting equipped) on Election Day.
Election Day voter registration is available Tuesday until 8 p.m. All voters in line at the Elections Center at 8 p.m. will be served. Voters can also visit the Elections Center to receive a replacement ballot, pick up an undeliverable ballot and access other voter services. The Elections Center will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day.
Election results will be posted Tuesday after 8 p.m. at https://www.missoulacounty.us/departments/elections/election-results/.
