At the beginning of each fiscal year, the state allocates earmarked alcohol tax monies for the provision of substance misuse/abuse treatment and prevention services.
To be eligible for funding, applicant organizations must be designated as a state-approved substance use disorder provider, and have either not-for-profit status or be a governmental agency.
Eligible program areas include:
- Prevention services
- Substance Use Disorder treatment, including outpatient, residential home, inpatient, and detox
Designated state-approved Substance Use Disorder providers are notified of the funding opportunity in the spring.
